Although airshots may look good in your fragmovie as far as I’m concerned shotgun > rocket launcher when it comes to denying height advantage (something you will be doing a lot in the roaming position) simply because of the consistency of it. Unless of course you can consistently hit airshots.
never wait for them to jump. dumb idea. spam them as much as you can before they jump so they are low in the air then shotty them. also if you need to go for an airshot try to hit a surface near him, e.g. the wooden board on spire – less damage but you will definitely hit it and it stabilises his jump so he can’t strafe i.e. easy 2nd hit

I don’t remember saying you have to wait for them to jump before you do damage? But silly me, of course it’s a given that you don’t damage anyone until they are rocketjumping.
