Controlling Steam ID ?

Is there any way of controlling the steam ID from the opponent team. I can only see the names but not the Steam ID’s which means that anybody can play for a team if he only writes down the real name !!

Yes, so you know the steam ids of the players of that match. You can’t compare them to the steam ids of the opponent team, because they are not publicly available on the website.

I don’t know if the admins compare them when controlling/approving the results.

Yes H-Man, all SteamIDs are checked by the admins after the match.

We generally check the majority of STEAMID’s in each individual game that we verify and trust me, its a boring task – but nessacary :(

still, it wont hurt pasting the steamid on the memberpage, since its 5 mins work for ST8 (probably)

ST8’s actually really busy IRL at the moment, when he returns theres a huge pile of things for him to figure out hehe.

I’ll raise the request in the admins forums.

Personally I don’t really see any reason why or why not the STEAMID of each player should be on the team list, so long as us admins do our job correctly :)

Although please, any ideas / feedback about the site and its general usage is welcome :)
