Id say keep the gates on well but just bloody remove them from granary! Also having the maps symmetrical is a very good point!
this is my opinion:
agreed with folowing ppl
from Riemu:
– adding 2 medium health+ammo packs to cp_well middle, instead of 1 health 1 ammo atm on different sides
– making cp_well + cp_granary symetrical
– fixing the fucked-up textures after alt-tabbing + the player invisible bug
– adding a sv_classlimit cvar to the server engines
– adding a sv_setuptime cvar to the tournament mode, to remove the setup time + gates from cp_well + cp_granary
from sajh:
– allowing all unlockable content when tournament is set to 1
from Mole:
– cvar to set a win limit on stopwatch based maps. e.g. x amount of rounds.
and this is my “valve todo” list:
– reduce random damage range for all weapons
– allow greater FOV values
– allow team spectators. each team can do “speclock” command (or it maybe done by default), and each team can do “specinvite” to selected players, allowing them to spectate the game from ineye only. (As it done in rtcw:et etpro mod)
– add A-B-B-A mode to stopwatch maps.
– fix %VARNAME% everyvere bug. In texts, killers, nemessises.. etc.
– add “ready” and “unready” commands to each player (in competitive mode), nor the whole team.
– add “teamlock” and “teamunlock” commands – to protect joining team.
– add damage statistic. by every player and the whole team for each weapon in the end of match.
most of this was taken from rtcw:et pro mod. It is brilliant for tournament gaming.

As a medic if you use uber and then switch quickly between syringe gun and bonesaw, you can keep your uber forever. If this is a bug they should fix it asap. Otherwise we should be allowed to use it.

Even though this suggestion is already in the ‘making well symmetrical’ suggestion, it’s still worth pointing out. At blu 2nd capture point there’s 4 small med packs at the attic. At red there’s only 3, even though there’s 4 small ammo packs as well. Seems weird.
I agree with all of the points. I think it would be great to see valve take them onboard.

Invisible players bug, 5 years in the game, still not fixed.
I would love to see a return of the hunted game mode from the first team fortress.
