Can any uber pro guy help me out?
My ping goes up from 90 to 240 sometimes. This happened when the update came.
I triple checked all the computers for (pr0n) downloads.
also inb4, “lol ur inet bad”
My internet is fine. I had low pings like 20-50 normally.
cl_cmdrate “67”
cl_interp “0.024”
cl_interp_ratio “1”
cl_lagcompensation “1”
cl_pred_optimize “2”
cl_smooth “0”
cl_smoothtime “0.01”
cl_updaterate “67”
rate “60000”
Taken from chris’ fps config.
Anyone else getting this shit?
lol ur inet is bad
Seriously though I have had frame rate issues with the updates. I dunno shit changes, I re-installed Chris max frames cfg, so far so good.

got some other people who also have that kind of lagg.
you might have to wait until next update :S
adjust your rates. try playing with them, like from 67 to 55 or something, also the general rate too.
Get it after every update, it’s not 100% erasable but if you backup your; hud, cfg and maps folders then delete your tf2 folder (C:Program FilesSteamsteamappsuser nameteam fortress 2tf – which is roughly 250mb excluding your maps) and launch the game. It’ll re-download the appropriate files.
Now just repaste your hud, cfg and maps folders back. Verify game files, then defragment them and it should of made the game abit more bearable
Also you can try;
Start > Run > cmd (opens a command prompt)
Now type; netsh winsock reset catalog
then type; ipconfig /release – your connection will now drop
RS PC
The last suggestion works absolute wonders for me and a few other people I’ve got to try it when you start getting choke/loss and/or and unstable ping.
