Update broke my TF2.

After this update my TF2 won’t launch and I receive an error which is named “Engine Error” – “Could not load library client”.
Tried:
Defragment cache files
Verify integrity of game cache
Moving out my folder @ steamapps.
Any ideas how to fix that ?

Didn’t help me.
As you can see, I have moved out my steamapps folder of my account. :/
I’ve got the same problem, I don’t use a custom hud and I’ve tried resetting my configs and that didn’t work either. This page – https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9626-UOAC-4950 – suggested logging out of steam and logging in again which I’ve tried and that didn’t work either. I’m currently backing up TF2 so I can re-install it.
:/ Did everything except moving Steam, but it’s already at C:Steam :(
Gonna re-install tf2 now.

My friend re-installed tf2 twice already and it still didn’t help.
The update surely broke something in the engine since plugins aren’t(?) working and the game is crashing so much…

Re-installed, same problem.
btw, steam statistics http://store.steampowered.com/stats/ shows that there are 9k+ users playing tf2 right now. :/

THEN YOU FUCKING DELETE THE STEAMAPPS(or TF2) FOLDER BEFORE YOU RE-INSTALL..
Why would anyone try re-installing before trying to make it work the easy way XD
