Mumble Problems: Fps Drops/Lags etc.

Hi,
I just installed the new version of Mumble (1.2.3) but I have many issues like fps drops and lags. I’m using the new shitty overlay of mumble and assuming that the problem is caused by this terrible overlay.
Anyother guys who have the same problem or someone to solve this problem?
Install the old version of mumbel that works for me no lags or fps drops atm
At first you have to make sure that it is really the overlay!
turn it off and try it again!
I had the same problem and turning off the overlay didn’t solve it. I reinstalled the previous version (1.2.2) to fix it. You can get it from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mumble/files/Mumble/
there is a known bug with 1.2.3 that can cause the overlay (and attached game) to lag if the mumble UI lags. Rather than downgrade, upgrade to the latest developer snapshot instead, which should fix it. If it doesn’t, send me a steam message, and I’ll pass it on to the devs.
One cause of the UI lagging is if you have a g15, and have the applet running, but have a different applet displaying on the g15 display. workaround at the moment is disable the applet, or have it displayed ;)

(I) Remove(d) the mumble overlay and it fixed the drops…
that works, but you shouldn’t have to do it
try with the snapshot and see if that fixes it
