YOU have never done anything for this community. If you had, you would realise that when you do, people automatically start to feel entitled to you spending inordinate amounts of time for nothing more than a thanks (not even that sometimes) just to keep them happy, and if you don’t, it makes you a dick. This is what Chris got fed up with and the only reason I don’t feel the same way about Pixel Pickup is that I’m quite happy to tell people to stfu when they’re being stupid. It becomes quite emotionally tiring to have people constantly asking you to do stuff.

Chris is actually a genuinely ace guy. If he’s been a dick to you, he’s just returning the favour. Do not bite the hand that feeds, this community has a massive tendancy to do that, and then cry when the person tells them to gtfo.

I have never been a dick to Chris, neither has many other people, yet when people ask any question here, say anything that Chris thinks is “fucking retarded” then it’s flame on.

I am thankful for what Chris has done, I have asked him many things and thanked him for it, I helped test some of the FPS configs and the like.

Just because he does stuff doesn’t mean I have to like him, just because he helps the community doesn’t mean he isn’t a cock to people.

I’d understand your reaction if I had said “fuck him, he’s done nothing, who cares etc. etc. etc.” but I didn’t I acknowledge the effort he has put it, but I have also acknowledged the how much of a cunt he can be himself.

I have also seen the nice side, I once asked him about how he got fast DL speeds on UTorrent and he talked to me about 30 minutes about a dedi box or something in switzerland, and about being invited to a private torrent tracking site etc. It was a really enlightening convo…
