So yeah, I often spot enemy’s through walls by spotting the shadow bugging through the wall.
classic example : Granary, push through ramp and at mid you already see him sitting topright of the ramp
You need shadows on ‘max’? ( normal ) detail to see it.
So I instant think, lol .. if someone speccs me they think im totally wallhacking.

I can’t see a way of fixing it, it occurs in every source based game unfortunately :[

Been on both ends of this, it’s a pretty important bug. Wish VALVe would do something about it.

(which would make me ROFL hard, cause that bug has been existant forever.)

I (and probably others) specifically asked for a server cvar that disables shadows in the closed beta forum, but I don’t think they ever responded to it. :(

i had this some time ago (just installed tf2 after pc reinstall so didn’t have any graphic cfgs) and as i can remember, in some pickup joske accused me of wallhack because of that. maybe he even broke one of his mice because of rage :D
