Since I started playing I’ve struggled to find anywhere as fun as the nervousENERGY community server.

-critvote
-small default map ritation/votepool of only good maps
-large nominate list for people to nominate other maps
-end of round madness (all talk, goomba stomp and friendly fire)
-community is dedicated and plays on it a lot
-well admin’d
-community mumble to join!

Though lately I’ve been playing on UKCS a lot more due to that being where most of my team plays. It’s fun but no rtv means you have to play shit maps and the servers have terrible hitreg.

i forgot to include a few things in my post, probably cus it was like 4am my time when i made it :D

default respawn times, this is so fucking important, i shit on pubs with fast/instant respawns, its sometimes a great deal of fun of actiually winning because you are working together as a team, instead of fighting against an infinite wave of players

class limits is a 70/30 kinda thing, most of the time its a good thing for spies, snipers and engis, but sometimes, god dammit, i get so pissed off when we have 2 failspies :D

random crits doesnt matter, sometimes its shit to get killed by crits, but its also immensly satisfying to make a crit kill, 50/50 on that

Just have a friendly medic and rape all with crits as demoman :>

proper mappool and good timelimit, dont want to play the same map for an hour

-18 players MAX
-all unlocks allowed
-no class limits
-no crits, damage and bullet spread
-all talk
-good community
-all default maps plus a few custom ones and no map voting. I want to finally play hydro.
-no mods or anything
-insta or very short respawn times.

Pretty much what ESL servers had before they got shut down ages ago.
