How does that not make sense? Nearly all of the problems he mentioned weere the result of poor circumstance, so it seems pretty obvious that it’s a case of “when it worked it was good, but it was too unreliable”.

It’s not though. There was quite a few issues initially with the bot (I wrote it in my spare time over 2 weeks and it involved more code than all of the custom features written for the ETF2L site in the 3 years), but they eventually all got fixed over the course of about a month. Everything else he is saying is pretty much unsubstantiated whining.

I didn’t meant this as a “Let’s discuss why Pixel Pickup died and who is at fault” thread and I think if you read the topic you understood it, so please stop trying to turn this into a pissing contest.

I am grateful for the time it lasted and wish for something LIKE it to come back. By something LIKE it I refer to the whole “People of not Div 1-3 Skill can play with people of Div 1-3 Skill and actually learn something”, meaning “I wish for a pickup enviroment that was as resourceful in actually learning how to play the game to come back”. And I want to see if others want something like that, too.
So that – if enough people want something like it – something like it could happen. Y’know. Wishes coming true and stuff. Instead I find this thread to be turned into a slinging of feces at each other for things that happened last year and that people are still buttangered and mad as hell about.

Please get back to the topic and stop pointing fingers at each other. That’s not what this is about.
