Nope. It’s a huge amount of work for me to set up. Even if you guys go “ye sure, I’ll admin it”. I still have to worry about the bot working properly, adding/removing admins, keeping an eye on ban policy (as it will reflect badly on Pixel Gaming even if it has nothing to do with me), making sure the servers get restarted regularly, etc.

Not really. Just because something is new, doesn’t mean it’s an improvement over what it’s replacing. Also the HTTP protocol itself might be old, but it’s so flexible there is genuinely no need for any changes.

OpenGL is actually lagging behind an awful lot compared to DirectX. The new spec for OpenGL 3 (which is neither finished nor tested) is only really just catching up to DX9 and a small subset of what DX10 has.
