I’ll contact you tonight chris – I’m sure I can get a team together.

TF2 can’t face this sort of humiliation after the i41 disaster.
Which disaster was this? There was about 8 teams and still managed to get more prize money than CSS and CoD4

get real. MGO’s only support prem div (well maybe some support lovers, but prob only partly). For amateur players lans = get drunk & fun.
Spot on 100%, be realistic guys why would an MGO pay good money for a div 3/4 team? They wouldn’t not unless they are minted and richer than Bill Gates =)
Back to the topic though, gl finding 1 more team Chris I would of liked to of come but… I have to make allowance for my work holidays SASM, MaxLan and i series x 3 etc…
Cheers

I believe it was the bit where only about 3 of the teams were even registered the day before and everyone who isn’t in the TF2 community thinks it was complete failure.

The biggest problem with TF2 and LANs is half the community are five and like playing cartoon games. Sadly their £2 a week pocket money can’t cover the LAN expense. Therefore I propose we rent out the children from our community as slave labour to help the elders of the community get there as like the kids their £2 a week dole money just don’t cover it.

Fantastic plan sir.

I’m still fairly sure they weren’t all expenses paid though.
Not all, no, but it shows that LAN support isn’t premier only. It’s real hard to find below that, yes, but not impossible.

Aye, but its more that for european teams, travel expenses/food/drink are going cost far more than the ticket for i-series. I know for me at i40, My ticket was £115 EAS, but the event probably cost me just short of £300 despite staying in a tent.

SPEAK IT BROTHER
Anyone considering flying into the UK to play with Chris or make another team – I’d be happy to pick you up at Gatwick on my way up to the lan :]
Doubt there is anyone, but it might make it easier for you!

Rubikon told me he would be willing to fund a team
add him on steam here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/TheEdgeCrusher/
Drinks are on him, except it’s gonna be tropical fruit juice rather than beer.
Don’t forget you get to be casted by the leanest, meanest UK Casting team of myself and d2m all weekend!
Great initiative :D
Another carrot to dangle is that I’ll be playing medic and I’m very quick to RAGE!!!!11
