M0re there’s no way you’re keeping that illusion of HUD and Config god now you’ve stamped your name on that monstrosity (at least with that font) LOL.

The health numbers staying green no matter what ur health could be a problem. Green is a positive color and strikes out as much as the pink color signaling that you are low on health. This will most likely fuck up your head when doing a quick read as you get mixed signals.

I would recommend you to steal the g-mang health bar (which imo, is excellent) but that would be too gay :P. if you wanna keep the strong green color i would suggest going for a backround color that doesnt strike out as much as the pink.
Then your subconscious will notice that you have 2 numbers (instead of 3 = signaling >100 health) which might be good enough along with a backround switch from white (loads of health) to black (low health)

hurm… when i think of it the switch from 3 to 2 numbers it will prolly not work for scouts

Been playing around with this for a bit, we’ve pretty much seattled of some combination of white text and green/grey/pink for buffed/normal/low. It’s still slightly problematic getting it to fit with the rest of the targetids.

I want to stress that the health square is static, not a moving bar. Not sure I made that all clear.

It’s because I want to associate red and blue exclusively with team color. I’ve been tempted to use red, since it’s such a brilliant attention catcher, but eventually decided not to, for the reason above. The health color scheme doesn’t feel 100% fine, so if anyone has any other suggestions they’re more than welcome.

Yea, as of today I am almost 100% certain that we can do any fully non-transparent (and transparent too, but we don’t want that) colours, both for the square and the digits independently. Not sure if I can change the outer boarder though. I’ll see what I can cook togeather based on those images.

As you pointed out, green and pink/red are attention catching colors. If they are coupled with a third darker colour, grey in this case, the contrast in the two transitions (low-normal, normal-buffed) is maximized. That’s why I’d like the grey in the middle rather than representing the low state. We also want to give these colours room to play, so assigning them to the square, rather than the digits would make sense, since the area is greater and more continous. Just in case people do want to change the colour scheme, we will make sure to put all the colour data in one place, so they can pretty much customize it beyond recognition within a couple of minutes.
