Reduce volume per user on mumble?

Is it possible to set different volume for each user on mumble? Some people are really loud and annoys the heck out of me but I guess it is harsh to ask them to drop their mic volume.

am interested in this too:) But I guess mumble doesn’t offer this kind of option.
iirc in 1.2.3, mumble brings at least in priority speakers, so the others get lowered while these talk. However, until that’s running, there’s not really another way than to ask them to be more quiet :) If it’s not an issue to ask them to turn UP the volume, why should it be one to ask them the opposite thing?

1.2.3 will have priority speakers, but I believe that’s serverside, and will only quieten others while certain people speak, so that’s probably not what you’re looking for

Just ask them to sort their mics. You’re not being a dick if you literally can hardly hear them or other people because of it. You’d politely ask someone to speak up or more quietly irl so whats different online?
