Nah, it’s for everyone. They want to push people to use some steam features. to receive the achievements you need to add 10 games to your wishlist.

So there I was drinking my tea, when all of a sudden a random attempt at making people buy games they don’t have came up.

Eh. It’s the season I guess.

The Bounty Hat will prolly be the one everyone gets – for the Treasure hat you’ll have to buy a few games, and the zomglastmassivehat needs ALL achievements (based on the assumption that every 2 days there’s 4 of them, 4*7 = 28) – meaning you’ll spend about 100€ or so on the games to get them. GG.

Remember when hats used to be something that no one had and some sat hundreds or thousands of hours on a server just to get one or two? I guess you do since that’s probably the case even still. However it’s starting to feel that just farting in the general direction of Valve is bound to drop you a hat.

I know because that’s what I do every day before my evening biscuit.

only thing that has changed is that instead of u idling, now u need to be like a stock market broker and sit in trade servers for hrs

I got two of the achievements without even trying, i’m aiming for the second tier of hats because i refuse to go out and buy games i don’t want (no matter how cheap, Chime!) to get these achievements.
