Need to send this to American Teams as well. Ideally we need top teams from both sides to attend otherwise no chance of TF2 going to DH.

Holy bananas this thing has exploded since i signed #24 this morning.

It’s great to see the community actively looking to support the game in the best way possible (Major lan recognition is the only thing tf2 lacks.)

But i have a fear that even with all this rallying the dreamhack arrangers will give us a chance only to have it ruined by low attendance. It’s going to take more than just the top 5 premiership teams to participate. In summer there will be i43, Summer Assembly and Summer dreamhack to look forward too, that’s a lot of traveling and expenses even for the absolute upper echelon teams who have limited lan support.

Having all this rallying hype things up only to have a low turn out like in 2009 (3 teams afaik) will only damage tf2.

We Don’t *need* any american teams to attend at all, infact we should be focusing on getting all the local skandie teams attending to boost the numbers. Numbers are far more important than names in terms of TF2 going to DH.
