Word on the street is they want more than signatures.

Like actual useful stats and figures regarding our community.

Team count on ETF2L is also a strong figure. Shows how much potential the scene has for growth in terms of getting organized with MGOs, sponsorships, etc.

Yep indeed – As much as you can say we’ll get the top 4 orgs in tf2 to come! They’ll want to know how many TF2 teams will actually go and not just sign a petition. Its about them making money at the end of the day, can we supply enough teams for them to make it worth while putting up a big prize pot?

News that I’ve received this morning is better than I could ever have imagined. Not from Dreamhack (yet), but makes our “application” so strong. I’m absolutely over the moon.

Won’t be giving any further details out now until I make a public announcement (yay or nay type thing).

I’m feeling very confident though :)
