This is great work again by Anakin et al.
Sure we don’t want to split the community, but it sends a clear signal to Valve.
Just run another TFTrue 1 Day Cup and I’m sure we will get a reaction :)
I’m with Darn on this one. Lets not make the gap between pubs and comp even bigger. And if you don’t want to deal with the fan or any other unlock: just ban ‘m.
Altering weapons attributes keeps the game closer to public than banning the weapons outright IMO.
Also +1 for removing Equalizer damage buff, and having the shovel give an extra rocket would be a nice idea to try out.
The only gap here is a gap of imagination, average Joe Plumber doesn’t mind any server-side mod which he doesn’t have to install.

Its the most equal and well thought weapon in the game. How big are the chances to get killed by a soldier with a melee weapon. If you got good comms and a bit of an aim it should be no problem to get a 30 hp basterd down

The speed is welcome, but 1 hit melee kills are the realm of Spies.
I think its great, finally soldier stands a chance with low hp, he cant rj so why should he be able to get some decent one shot damage at point blank?
Equalizer shouldn’t instagib medics… scouts, snipers and the like, fine.
Sounds like good changes otherwise as well, TDH doesn’t need a massive amount of tweaking.
New TDH sounds awesome, maybe a bit less fall-off to compensate (10-20%).
Also, the equaliser needs to be something soldiers use as a bit of a last resort, not something they can be aggressive with. A max damage of 100-115 should be fine. I think reducing max speed to medic speed would be a good move too, just so scouts can hunt down fleeing soldiers etc. Overall just a small nerf on both attributes.

You can say the same for scout. And demo. And heavy.

Medics, scouts and snipers should have the common sense not to look the same way for half a minute and rely on retards who can’t comm…

Max speed with the equaliser is still lower than that of a scout.
