This is a fun little gambling game where one lucky winner will end up with a random hat after only paying one scrap metal!

The way it works is that 30 people give me 1 scrap metal each, I then give each person a number in a list and use a random number generator to pick one number from 1-30, the person who’s number is picked gets the hat.

“How do I know you’re not scamming?” – As this is the first one I’ve done, you don’t so far. However anyone who knows me can vouch for me not being a dick, and at the end of the day, if I WAS scamming (which I’m not), you’d only have lost ONE scrap metal.

“What about the remaining 3 metal?” – As it takes a bit of time to organise the competition, get all the names down into a list, set up 31 trades and craft a hat then it’s only fair and reasonable that I keep 3 scrap metal for myself.

“What hat do I get if I win?” – It’s random! You get the hat that is crafted by the metal from everyone, I’ve got as much idea as you do as to what the hat will be! I’ll even craft the hat together while on a server so that anyone who wants to watch can join my game.

“Can I enter more than once?” – At the moment I’m going to say no, however if we have trouble filling the spaces then I’ll consider opening it up to ‘pay 2 scrap to get 2 slots in the competition’

“Can I use something other than scrap metal to enter?” – No, that defeats the point entirely.

I’ll be keeping a list of entrants in this topic, and that’s pretty much it (unless anyone has any questions?)
