I heard that if you rename the medigun the person you’re healing doesn’t see the name. Is this true? :(

Valve will probably do something about that, or at least something to make named weapons more viewable by others etc.

IIRC it shows the name in brackets just like it does with the kritzkrieg. Not completely sure though.

I’ve been healed by someone with their medigun renamed as “The Dauntless”. I saw it perfectly.
