Hello,

I’m not seeing any sprays ingame. Not my own, not of any other players. Also in options, I see a black, pink checkered picture where my spray should be. I can load jpg/vtf etc but no spray is showing up. I’ve run FPS low scripts in the past (still am).

What I’ve done so far:

Changed decals to 2048, change decallimit in options/advanced, I’ve looked at the cl_disablesprays variables, and a bunch of other variables at autoexec.cfg. I also checked that the pictures/vtf are in the /vgui/logo/ directory.

Questions:

1. What could be the problem that is causing the pink/black checkered picture in options, or does someone know requirements for a spraying picture to load in TF2
2. What are the exact variables that need to be checked in autoexec.cfg to show sprays? Or perhaps its something in the commandline?

I really want my porn sprays :(

I know about the pure settings. I think I can get the problem solved, if I can simply get the spray to show in options. But even there I can’t get it to show.

Settings in my config:

cl_playerspraydisable 0
r_spray_lifetime 2
r_decals 200
mp_decals 500

Hmmz. Ill check that when I get home. I got some settings in my config.cfg, but most of my fps and network settings are in autoexec.cfg.

I solved this cold case:

Seems that along the line (I havent been using sprays for ages), the map where the sprays should be in: tf.vgui.logos. should now be: tf.vgui.logos.ui.spray.

Furthermore I have reset my config for TF2, by putting -autoconfig in command line, to start up TF2. Remove it after you started btw.
