Yeah i dont want to rub it in to all you guys with chocolate box pc’s and everything but i’ve got fps to spare and currently all my graphics settings are on max are there any extra commands that will make my game look beautifull regardless of if i love fps or not.

Afaik there was a possibility to crank that shit up to the level of the “Meet the” videos, but Valve removed this with the Engie update or sometime before that.

valve has fucked with mat_picmip and the hw vcds, but that config will still work.

Whoever wrote that hasn’t read http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Source_Multiplayer_Networking , right? :s It’s good for gfx n all but the network settings are a lot of potentially backfiring snakeoil.
