Just had a play around. Is it possible to add custom sky boxes? as it seems to be overwriting the custom sky boxes from my TF2 folder. I tried copying across the sky boxes into the PLDX tool as the default badlands ones, but this didn’t work.
Found it last night entirely by chance, fucking beastly update. Really really nice work.
How do I prevent using certain custom particles? For instance, I don’t like the explosion one.
simply remove them from “moviefiles/particles” (or if already installed, from tf/particles) – for example the explosion should be named explosion.pcf – doing this will use the default particles out of the tf2 .gcf files.

Open up PLDX, go to edit profile, then the particle effects tab. Now choose which particles you want to use. That should work I think

You might want to download it again, because a few bugs were discovered and a newer version was uploaded today.
Just crashes when i load the demos :(
If i load using the Ui SHIFT+F2
It just crashes

Those launch options don’t matter (they’re not used). Try editing the profile so that it doesn’t apply full graphics when your game is launched. How old are your demos? Try playing a new demo. You could also try and load a map before you play your demo, type in console “map cp_badlands”

Nope, nothing works, the map suggestion doesnt work, neither does a brand new profile.

Third person mode is messed up for me. It always starts upside down and does random spins even without pressing anything… :s
Tho loving the new distance settings for it, finally I can make tf2 look like classic grand theft auto… :D

Can anyone tell me pleaze, what’s the command so you can see the info of a demo (like map/ players/ etc) in console?
