Yo, just a short question to all the people whose native language IS NOT English:
Do you play TF2 in English or in your native language?
That might seem pointless to ask for to you, but I need that info :>
Thanks in advance, and oh – please don’t spam the thread and if you are a non-native-english-speaker, please reply with ‘native’ or ‘english’, no essays please :)
Wanna keep it clean so it’s easier for me to gather the numbers.
Also, but that’s just a bonus: Do you think, that in general, it takes more characters to write words / to express phrases in your language than in English?

Both
edit: Oh, I thought you meant comms. I run my TF2 in English.
Would be funny to have Finnish dialects in TF2 tho.
Scout = Helsinki slang
Soldier = Savo dialect
Demoman = Turku dialect

I play it in Spanish, which is odd because I don’t even know Spanish.
I used to play it in french, but since they dont seem to add new sounds from the other languages it was abit weird hearing all frenchies talking and then “Oh no not the cart!” from a scout when i was playing payload .__.
now its all english
I have everything in Dutch. Because the game Team Fortress 2, was orginally intended to be played in Holland only.
English for the past 3 years. Always have, always will. Dutch is terrible.

hahaha, “un medico!” “botella de siiidra”
i play in english, spanish voice of the soldiers is stupid
English, anything translated into dutch is insta fail.
I use english also.
What comes to the bonus question… Well, it depends on the situation. In general I think when playing with non-finn people my comms tend to be shorter :o
