because you probably activated damage done indicator :) instead othe critical hit text you will see the damage you’ve done above the enemies head.

If you have the ‘combat text’ enabled (Shows how much damage you do upon a hit) then that’d be why.
If you have a script enabling different crosshairs/viewmodels for different weapons then you can disable the combat text for just the sniper rifle which will bring the critical hit icon back upon a headshot.
