It won’t give out more FPS when used in this way, but if you use the command mat_showlowresimage as it is intended it will.
Kinda weird seen as it gave me 50-60fps more on granary & badlands.
(went from 110->160ish)

It did that when glitched in the way stated by the OP?

m0res config + op = 160@mid
