This is fucked up I downloaded the dx9 frames put all the launch options into the launch options box and changed the w to 640 and the h to 480 and my tf2 won’t start now
Like I can get to the loading screen once it finishes it just goes black nothing at all just black i tried changing the launch options and sh1z to no avail, help me!

and after that? do I put the launch options off chris’s fps cfg in?

didnt realise windowed makes such a difference in fps, Ive gone back to full screen and my fps is better again….

but Im still suffering some mega random fps drops.. maxed @ 120… but will drop to 20 and back up, makes it totally unplayable… using the maxframes cfg… I use the launch options, defraged/verified tf2 in some hope it would do something, but still nothing :(

then don’t use dx9frames. use maxframes.

for the record -autoconfig does not clear everything. if you want to clear every single setting (warning, will clear both registry settings and /cfg/) then run this script I made from INSIDE /tf/: http://fakkelbrigade.eu/chris/misc/reset.bat
