fucking my mind…

After the new steam IU update. i keep getting disconnected from the steam network. This caused my game to Disconnect from every server after i join that server for 1- 3 minutes. ( the connection to steam VAC servers could not be made ) or something like that.
Any of you have any idea at all on how to fix this shit? Greatly appreciated thanks

For the above, try the following, they worked for quite a few people, but not me.

– Delete clientregistry.blob in your steam folder.
– Add -tcp in your launch options.
– Play in offline mode.
– Pray it works.

None of them worked, for me atleast, but you’ll can try them and see whether you’ll get it fixed. I’m planning to reinstall steam and tf2, because this thing is really pissing me off.

Try the above it has worked for many people. For me, reinstalling steam and tf2 seems to have worked.

seems like going in offline mode helped me thx for advices

I’m also getting this problem, I think. I either get disconnected (“Client timed out”) or kicked due to no steam logon (VAC Connection Error) every few minutes. I assumed it was my awful internet connection. I play in windowed mode, too, so tabbing out is pretty common…

Try those methods I posted above.

Didn’t work. Also offline mode means no steam cloud/weapons surely?

However, I managed to play an entire game a while ago without getting disconnected, inexplicably.

Keep your friends list offline. That’s what I meant.
