Major TF2 Lag

Its quite odd really, on certain servers, I will get major (to the point of unplayable at times) lag. My FPS and ping are both stable, and when I try other servers, such as random pubs, they seem fine.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, at times, the lag is somewhat noticeable during warm up, yet it is somewhat playable, but once both teams ready up and the game starts, it can really kick in.

Also, recently (within the last week) I have randomly been receiving the “Vac server fail” message, as well as “Client timed out”. These happen with lag frequently, although at times happen with no lag whatsoever. The thing is, this can happen any time from once or twice a game, to almost every 2 minutes.

I have just scanned for spyware, and nothing came up, but does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this, or does my ISP just fail?

Increase your page pool memory?

If that was the issue, it would display “OS paged pool memory low”.

Are these certain servers pubs? Do they have a server fps of 13?
