Hello, I just downloaded few demos, but I can’t watch them…I tried Windows Media player and VLC…
Can someone help me out? Like what program should I download?
It says I have to download a codec…
ummm, you use TF2 to watch demos m8.
Open console when tf2 is open and type “playdemo xxx” (xxx being the demo name).
Also type in demoui or demoui2 for some user interface when watching the demo :p

You have to put those demo files into your Steam/steamapps/ENTERYOURSTEAMNAMEHERE/team fortress 2/tf folder in order to open them. If you have multiple accounts with TF2, like one for demo watching and movie making etc and one for playing – you have to move your demo files to that account folder which you’ll be using to watch the demos.
Write demoui/demoui2 in the console if you don’t remeber the name of the demo, then you can just drowse you why to the demofile
or shift+f2)
