how about making a new program that sets in it all the teams, by divisions, that are recruiting players. in that program you can filter wich class, wich div and think about more.
it will be easyer to do so instead serching in the forums or opening a topid at player recruiting Forum.

when i say a program i mean in the site, such as the forum programs.. (i just forgot how to say it :P)

this would be rly good thing to have, but but but… whos gonna make it

CTRL-F you lazy person!

We do have a half built recruitment program that weqo started on about a year ago, its not quite finished and has been on the back burner since. I’ll have to have a look to see what else needs doing to finish it off.

tbh i dont see why, the forums provide a good enough solution altho people just put closed when theyve found a team. dont rly see the point tbh. we know who needa a team who is in the team etc so why bother.

you do? cuz ive been receiving at least two pcw invites per week even tho im not playing in fb for about a month.

The amount of users searching for team clearly exceeds etf2l forum capability to oversee them

Sounds good, especially when the recruitment posts are hidden by default in the recent posts list.

ST8, i’d be interested in doing a bit of work on that one weqo started.

You can now decide for yourself what forums you want to show up in the recent post list. Just go to your profile and have a look at the forum options.

I knew that, but many people don’t. It still affects visibility of recruitment posts, when they’re buried for most people who haven’t thought of it.

Waster

Why dont you just call it a recruitment filter?

Anyway. Always thought it would be handy. Shouldnt be too hard to implement. Espcially when all the options as skill, classes, description are already saved in the profile.

about the forum, you see many israely peaple spam the post for bad and for good, many aren’t right and that affects the clan who need players to get that player or not.
i think it should be private between the player who wants a clan in X division that is looking for a Y class. and for the leader of the clan to approve his request for a trail or immediately get him in that requested clan. and keep a history of the clans that approved him in that X division and in what class so if he needs a new clan they can look at his history level that was played.
this works for the opposite, for clans that are seaching players with history in division X and class Y.
any way, i see you liked the idea :D.

Are you trying to be racist and say only israelis say shit about themself?
Around 80% of Recruitment Threads seem to overrate themself, just because in TF2 there are way less people like in CS doesnt mean you are automatically higher skilled. But maybe the times changed, and you are mid in Div4, i dont know.
In my opinion Recruitmentthreads are a bit of useless anyway, interesting to read who’s desperately looking for players/teams, not more, also because of reasons as overrating, i saw people with Div5 exp trying Div2, what i mean is, there are rarely the right people attending. Play Mixes/Pickups (though even pug2 grew shit), get Friends, and join teams of them.
A Program is therefore a bit useless in my opinion, the only useful would be a filter, but who would want to download a programm just to search a player? kinda should be implemented to the homepage, and not be handled like the Forumposts. The flistspammer to get good comments are annoying as hell, so should comments be deactivated? imo no, but something smaller, like in the videosection, but hell yeah there could be changed alot.

If it was more for showing a players status in regards to clans than the way the current recruitment section is then it would be far better.
