Joining teams as Mentor

gryzor, actually this “admin” spot could be used as Mentor, team manager etc…. it doesnt need to be solely Mentor. Take example of ESL in this case, where i am present both in idk? and idk? gold, as team manager.
Completely agree with slick that it would be helpful for mentors, team managers and in a team like idk?’s case give the first team leaders a chance to help their other teams. Would be a cool addition. I vote it would be a 3 on Gyzors 1-10 scale xD
wasnt meant as offence defur, cause im supporting the mentor thingy too and would love to see more ppl helping
but the whole mentoring concept needs to be reworked imo :P

i mentor 3 teams but not through the mentoring project may i have some cookies?
I’m personally not convinced this is an “great” idea due to the previous consideration of mine. I’ll PM this thread to Deneusbeer and hence force him to read this — that’s about the best I can do. I am all for making people feel more “involved” however, this is a good start as any I can think of.

Seem’s kinda pointless exercise to me tbh, as other’s have said only benefit for anyone rearly is people get to see who is mentoring/coaching who.
Which seem’s to me is only there to boost there ego :P.
It isnt like there actually going to be on a server when the team they are mentoring are playing officials so rearly cant see the point.
If people want to help others there has been a system allready setup and in place which shows who has been mentored etc and ratings avaliable, fact is people just dont use it.
Well I thought about it, if someone were to coach a team, TF2 Mentor thingy, he could join the team, but to join the team that would mean that he would have to leave the current one – so why not make an option for a Mentor spot in the teams?
Kinda like war arranger and those stuff?would be fun
I see your point :) Well it’s a good ideia in fact IMO, that way the mentor would have some kind of atention by others :)
