[Season 21] New Playoffs System Request

Sup guys,
i was asking myself if we could divide the playoffs in an
upper high/mid/low playoffs knockout stage and in a
lower high/mid/playoffs knockout stage
while splitting the whole tier table in two halves after the last week.
–> it would increase the competition for all teams and maybe prevent some from dropping … maybe
It would be nice to hear some feedback from the community and the admins.

Why would giving teams an incentive to lose games so they can make it to the lower mid playoffs a good idea?
You have to realize that this is a competition.
Teams are either among the best of their tier or they’re not.
No consolation prize for 32nd place, if we wanted to have 6 playoffs we’d make it 6 tiers (which, due to the swiss system, wouldn’t work/be desirable for a multitude of reasons).
It would really just made season longer. It would work similar to playoffs in UGC with regular season and playoffs and I don’t really see a point in that solution, it would overlap 6v6 season and hl season more than it does right now. And with scheduling system etf2l runs right now it will be just overcomplicated.
Playoff system works fine. Would prefer if you could ban maps though..
