Sounds like fun. I’ve also always thought that CL1 might be a viable option for competitive play, maybe even replacing the normal CL2. It doesn’t make the game any less competitive, just more diverse.

Only problem with a cup is that a few teams obviously is going to be eliminated straight away and not get a good feel for cl1 but not much you can do unless you want to play it in the season (which I wouldn’t mind personally :p )

It basically works out at 1medic 1soldier 1heavy 1sniper 1scout and 1demo, the sniper has the free role of pyro/spy/engy – some teams already run this setup on freight.
We just played 4v4 cl1 in a pickup because half the people couldnt come because they had updated, was great fun… :D
would be cool
