Xacher got forum banned, but this still sounds pretty damn cool to me.

18:11 – Xacher: I think a draw procedure for the Nations Cup would be great, say the winning 1/8 finalists can be Pot 1, and the losing ones Pot 2, just imagine the attention and hype it will grab if it would be streamed by one of the big streaming channels, and the groups/brackets would be more balanced as well.

Last time, I seeded them so if the results went ‘perfectly’ the quarter finals would be

This is the fairest way to do it, but if everyone wants to do something like this to create some hype, I wouldn’t be against it. It’d still make it fair enough.

The groups are all seeded too. Last time I seeded all 34 teams and made the groups as fair as possible, obviously it’s hard to predict exactly how good teams will be but it’s always gone pretty well.
