I am trying to understand why you liked/needed it in the first place, so it can be restored if needed.
I personally didn’t see any particular use to it.
(that’s written as my personal opinion; I wasn’t trial admin when I first replied here)

Pretty much the reason we have the news and the forum activity bars. To stay in touch with everything without opening additional tabs every day. Way more useful than the “Recent Demos” bar we have right now.
