To a very little scale: yes. It will not make TF2 instantly MLG, but it’s still a really small step forward. One can compare this rule to the one that didn’t allow prem players to change their name for an official. I still don’t see a reason of having Zimbabwe as your teams flag in the first place, maybe it’s a really good joke that i fail to understand, sorry if so.

Well, I asked one of the admins if they could switch my flag to american for the lulz and they refused unless I could provide any proof that I’m actually american, so why not apply this for team flags?
I mean, if most of the team is actually of that nationality than it’s all good, but if it’s a bunch of europeans, just make it european, like it makes a difference.
Fun fact though: making a new account and selecting a flag, let’s say, from Kongo let’s you stay on that flag, even if you are not from Kongo. Flawless logic, isn’t it?
