Have you played scrims in prem with that thing? If yes then i’ll ask you to provide demos if you can. If no, then sorry, apparently you forgot how people were reacting to the Beggars Bazooka when it came out, everyone was reacting to it like a pub weapon with the “stock would always be the best, trying new things is for nerds” mentality, but when a couple of players started using it, it became the new meta.

try scout v scouting a Scout with a charged BFB, it’s very difficult
All weapons (and scatterguns) can be viable, people just don’t know how to use them properly, BFB can be viable on CP maps, lets say you’re backcapping 2nd enemy point, and you capped it, you have a fully charged BFB, you will get to Last point in few seconds and no one will be able to get you
BFB is OP now, even 4 shots don’t matter, if you run out of 4 shots, just retreat, reload and come back, since you’re so fast

The scout gets a maximum speed increase of +30% (from 400 u/s to 520 u/s), that is not insignificant.

The only thing the increased speed (especially since it’s variable) does for you is fucking up your own aim.
And the 4 pellets instead of 6 is actually a huge deal in most situations.

That would be the case if you were shooting a stationary target, but considering the fact that things you are shooting have greatly varying relative speed then it doesn’t seem relevant.

My personal opinion as a scout is that it’s not worthy of a mid-season ban. Yes, the weapon went from the worst primary to one of the best in that buff but usually only weapons with an unavoidable exploit or major fault is reviewed mid-season.
The Darwin Danger Shield was banned mid-Nation Cup because it’s literally ridiculous. This is just a good weapon for scout now, don’t see any reason to ban it.

Talking about HL scout in general, speed is bretty OP.
Crit-a-Cola is really handy for quick medic kills as nobody expects speed like that, and the same thing is with BFB. Not in need of a ban, though.
Should make up some cool strats.
