If possible, it would be great if what matches the search goes first too. Example; if you search for “john”, results show as:

john
alphajohn
betajohn
charliejohn

It would also be helpful to show the current clantags behind the results (I suppose 6v6 & HL team, like its done in the forums).

Can be done. You can use this to search by country in the meantime: http://etf2l.org/about/players/?country=Argentina

Added ordering by length and name.

If anything just an option to sort them in order of country.

The reason I removed it is because it bolded players whose teams have tags, rather than players who have teams. It was a little bit misleading, and more than a bit ugly.

On the note of search improvements, the search page permalinks now work like this:

etf2l.org/search/[search query]/[country]/[teams or players]/[page]

Example: etf2l.org/search/hi/european/teams/5/
