Add a "go to newest unread post" link to threads

Hello,
whenever I am browsing the forum, there are quite many threads which span over several pages and of which I read most posts already. I have to jump to the newest post manually, and then sometimes back because there have been several new pages since I read that thread the last time.
I saw in many other forums the function to jump to the newest post of the respective thread. Even better would be a link to jump to the oldest post that has been posted after I last logged in.
If that is not possible, I would appreciate a link to the newest post of a thread for every thread in a forum like there already is in the forum overview, but not in each forum itself.

Yeah, sucks there’s no “last post/last page” button
I can assure you, it’s very much possible to make. And since this site runs wordpress, it should be pretty easy too.

I agree, it would be very useful!
Also I’d like to have a “multi-quote” button, when you have to respond to different posts it’s really annoying to do it manually.
