Also, the EU game is always going to be slow paced because EU players are scared not because of unlocks. Unlocks would be nice and would unlock another facet of different strategies but until EU stops playing like pussies the game will always be a stalemate.

I can tell you lot of the top level roamers are not brain dead. They use different weapons which enable different strategies and they use them smartly, watch Blaze or Dave_AC roam you will see their style is delibrate.

Pretty sure I can reach mid at almost same time as demo on granary, if I take the health on mid, I can normally get the demo, or at least good when gunboats were allowed.

regarding the new update

Many useful fixes, and I don’t see why on earth you wouldn’t allow the escape plan and even the new equalizer for the next season, more items of choice so the player can customize his play style

Also think about allowing the degreaser, I don’t even know why but it was nerfed again (well invisible nerf) but compared to the other 2 flamethrower it has now 10% less damage. Allowing the combo degraser/flaregun would be lots of fun as well but that rustles some jimmies apparently so degreaser only wouldn’t be that bad, personally when I offclass as pyro, I’m so used to the degreaser switch that I reflect, change to shotgun, only to be killed because the switch time is huge and then can’t switch back to the primary to reflect again. Degreaser only for pyro seems like a pretty neat and balanced option.

I cba to read the same old drivel of why this unlock should be allowed and this shouldn’t.

Fact of the matter is this, you either say you’ll play the accepted vanilla+medlocks or there needs to be an “unlocks” commitee created involving top teams and informed community leaders who can shape the way we play comp tf2 for the better.

Until such time as there is a commitee of sorts, theres no point arguing this unlock or that as it wont be added into competative play.

Yes please, great idea, now admins better make it happen. And make it so top teams don’t have the big majority of the vote/choice, I would hate if less than 1% of a community gets to decide what’s better for the rest 99%

Great, so let’s all give Prem teams all the saying on the matter, forget all the div4/5+ shitters who only make up more than 80% of the comp community. Meanwhile in a few seasons the all mighty prem players will be playing their own little game alone with all the made up rules they want.

This is a pretty drastic view of things, but i’m sure if you only hear what 1% of the community has to say (which is a biased sample), people in the lower divisions might feel ignored and just don’t even put effort in participating.

I agree with you that they are better at the game and all that stuff, but if you are using that sample for a biased view on the matter then that defeats the purpose of having a committee in the first place.

Create a commitee or a round table of some sort but try to make it right and represent the comp community equally in an unbiased manner
