So let’s slow down 6v6 and make it even more stalematey?

6v6 cl1 all unlocks allowed.

I want to see if unlocks are more balanced in a cl1 situation and that possibly the imbalance came in terms of the cl2 using unlocks rather than the unlocks themselves. I accept that there are exceptions to every rule or theory.

vanilla is perfect for current format though

if this is a suggestion for a 1 night cup then why cant we just have it?
because:

A: no one is forced to play
B: no one is forced to play
C: might be fun for those who want a bit of a laugh one Thursday or something

It can go both ways. Any defensive class can create a stalemate situation. (demoman, heavy, engi ;))

Could also go as far as a offensive classes n medic only cup (would upset alot of demomen yea)

any rule change WILL change the “meta game” obviously, but some change should happen, since im clearly not the only one getting tired of this same old vanilla 6v6 crap, where plently other people arent. (yet)

Im not saying this is a good idea, but being conservative when the scene is in such a dire state atm arent helping either.

(im not wanting more sniper since im shit at it :))

I keep hearing this. In what way is it in a dire state?
From what I can tell, almost every 6v6 season ETF2L has run has been bigger than the previous one, and Highlander has exploded in the last year or so. Which part of that is dire?

Back to the original suggestion: It sounds fun as a one-night cup, but I don’t think it would be as good as a permanent change to the 6v6 format. Although admittedly my 6v6 experience extends only to some lobbies and Newbie Mix games.

opinions are opinions but i doubt this will do anything good for tf2 besides spicing it up for the rare individual
