For future reference, this issue can be avoided by using my map configs.

I doubt this is reliable on gpit – some people tend to just re-exec the config when teams need to swap.

It is perfectly reliable if the person with rcon isn’t retarded. Use the command Valve has in the game to do this, don’t reexec the config.

If you need (you don’t) to exec the configs because you are an idiot and can’t use commands properly, do one of the following:
exec cp_gravelpit
or
mp_tournament_restart
didnt valve remove need to change timelimit for stopwatch maps some time ago?

I don’t know, I certainly didn’t know if they did (but it’s possible it was done when I was away for 6 months).
Surely it would be better to have this discussion in the other thread? It’s not on-topic here.

There’s nothing retarded about re-exec’ing the config – because it works. Besides it’s an easily made mistake even if you’re not stupid. You just can’t make this assumption.

“Something both teams failed to noticed. This makes that neither teams have grounds to complain as they’re both at fault.”
Situation brought about by both teams.
Conclusion favors only one team.
Neither team has the ground to complain.ETF2L reasoning back to it’s finest.
Which conclusion wouldn’t have favored either of the teams? I’m curious. There was always going to be one team upset by the outcome. In an alternate universe this thread would be called “How is this decision fair, we were robbed of a win”
Dont really agree on the admins decision, but all in all the admins have the last word.

Better option then is to set max rounds, which I am just doing now. It will automatically stop after the round is done so that people can switch.
edit: it now has gpit to stop after each round.
god damnit etf2l
this is a new level

That doesn’t work. Tested that in french league some months ago and that was buggy. After 2 rounds the config is off, then when both teams are ready they are autmatically switched which is a big problem because it negate all the pros of that idea. Maybe that was just a bug and it’s fixed now, u gotta test that.
That’s not really on topic but but the 2-1 on gravel as a golden cap would be way more logic… and maybe you wouldn’t have had this topic because of pt.con not that upset by the outcome of that admin decision :)

I did test it and I can’t reproduce this…
Edit: whilst i can’t reproduce this, there is a bug in prec that means when the new rounds starts, it will not continue recording. I will report this to orange and remove it for now.
Maybe the easiest way to ‘fix’ this is just reload the map?
