If you disguise as a person who has an unusual hat or a community weapon, your disguise will not reproduce these effects (According to tf2wiki)
You can immidiately see a disguised spy, if your whole clan wears an unusual hat :)
Or your demo wears an epic unusual hat and you see him/her without it
etc…

of course it would be best competitively but remember this is a cartoon game that people only play to wear cool hats
If your demoman is wearing an epic unusual, he’s gonna get seen if he tries to hide in a badlands choke bush… :(

if i had an unusual hat and got b& from wearing it because some one wants to go spy and disguise as me… fuck it, no
