When I click a link in the forum it runs on the same page , so the forum will be gone.

Considering that is the default behaviour of every commonly used piece of forum software, I don’t see why its a problem.

This has been discussed before. And in the end people just like the choice of either opening on the same page or opening it in a new tab.
