clientscheme.res is where the error lies.

P.S: I fixed my problem, but all I use are the damage numbers, so I guess what I say here won’t exactly help.
If you want to know how I did it, I just copy and pasted what I needed (m0refont16) from m0res clientscheme into the original.

Community Hud has a working one for the current version of TF2. No idea about others.
