[Fixed] Weird lag: net_graph looks like a terrarium

EDIT: Looks like a too low ‘rate’ value caused this. Set it to 100000 for the time being and it’s been working fine since then!
I couldn’t find any previous threads about this; then again, I don’t really know what to search for since the best description I can think of is that net_graph looks like a terrarium.

I’ve not noticed any lag in any other application. Pinging hosts shows no dropped packets anywhere, and a result of speedtest is below:

This makes me think it’s something in tf2 which is messed up. Does anyone know something that can be done about this? It’s very annoying to play like this, I get hit by things a second before my game even shows them shooting things, explosives don’t explode and instead just disappear. My ping is at a stable 20 on average.

net_graph 1
cl_interp_ratio 1
cl_interp 0
As you can see on the screenshots, that’s already the interp settings he uses, and it has nothing to do with the packet loss he has.
@repu: As AnAkkk said, these are the interp settings I use already (though I used net_graph 2 for the screenshots), so unfortunately no fix there :(
@adysky: You found it already, but I’ll put a link here in case anyone else is wondering the same thing: https://teamfortress.tv/thread/17883/uber-tracking-hud-mod/?page=1
I added it to my hud and basically never use it, but it’s a neat trick nonetheless :)

Little update in case anyone has the same issue: I had some help from schocky, who suggested to increase the ‘rate’ cvar (to 100000 for the time being). Since then I’ve not had this issue anymore, so it seems to have worked! So thanks for that, and hopefully if someone else has the issue (and they somehow manage to find this thread by searching for this exact metaphorical description), this will help them as well :)
Could you post a screenshot of your current net_graph so we can see how it should look like ? Cause I don’t really see the problem on the 3 first ones.

The net_graph should be solid or at least with way less spaces in it.
something like http://forums.comcast.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/12809i21612493713757EF?v=mpbl-1 image is not mine, just from the internet.

it has nothing to do with your settings, broken server with really bad rate

That was FritzBrigade #1 :/
I had the issue off and on for about a week, on various different servers. When asked, nobody else on the servers seemed to be laggy, so it seems unlikely to me that it’s a server issue – then again, that could be a wrong conclusion on my part. One of the servers where I had it was FritzBrigade#1 like kkaltuu said, another was FrankBrigade#1, another was FromageBrigade#1, for the rest I haven’t checked.
where are these brigade servers located?
