Hitsound not working

My hitsound is broken, I’ve tried to use another hitsound and fooled around with the console commands my hitsound is located in C:Program Files (x86)/ Steam/ SteamApps/ common/ Team Fortress 2/ tf/ custom/ My_custom_stuff/ sound/ ui
Can someone help me with this, please?

it has to be named hitsound (and be a wav file).

I’ve got that
Custom huds sometimes use their own hitsound.wav. Find all the foldiers called ‘ui’ below tf/custom.
I dont have a custom HUD :/
make sure you dont have anything in /tf/sound and no /sound folders in any /custom folder (other than the one you have atm)

If you foooled around with console commands, maybe you happened to just turn it off?
tf_dingaling_pitchmaxdmg 100
tf_dingaling_pitchmindmg 100
tf_dingaling_volume 50
tf_dingalingaling 1
Try those in the console

THANKS GUYS, it finally works again :D I do not know what did it I removed everything is tf/sound and did the console commands but it works :DDD THANKS
