Anyway to make them work with latest drivers?
Yea, try this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/41623885/LOD_Adjuster_gui.exe
You need to open it with the administrator rights with right-clicking when you download it.
(low lod values are 1,2,3… to 10. for example you can choose 3 for default low lod. but for extra low lod you can choose 3-10 ofcourse. Enjoy…)

Still works fine for me.
doesnt seem to be working with sparse grid supersampling.I have Nvidia gpu.
needed to set mat_mipmaptextures 1
