demo crashing

is the demo in your /tf folder?
I think it has to be in there in order to be able to replay it. (even though you can go to other folders if you click on “load” in the demoui)

it is in my tf folder

Make a backup of your config files, then delete them.

You can also type in the path in the console, like so:
playdemo prec\blabla.dem
or maybe even
playdemo "D:\folder\bla.dem"
but I’m not sure about that one

@spike: I tried it once and the demo crashed so I assumed it would always do that. Maybe I just got unlucky.
